Noble silence.
Throughout the year there iwill be a progression from "not talking" towards a more inner silence and breathing. The bell is a very helpful tool that I would like to introduce this year. With students of 16 to 18 years old all of this is a big challenge, because they easily reject this. Linking mindfulness to a better study atttude and a higher concentration helps to have the acceptance of the more sceptical students.
My sangha is in school. I took inititaive in that last year and ca. 15 teachers responded positively. In October we will gather and see what activities will be programmed, both for teachers and for students.

This webside and the contacts with other mindful educators would help and support me a great deal.

Improved class room behaviour. An atmosphere of respect rises while practising. Gossiping will be stopped more easily and is replaced by acceptance of each other. |
