| Can you describe briefly what you are doing with your pupils/students to integrate mindfulness in your educational work? |
I don't work with the pupils anymore. I practice to be a mindful headteacher, which often is not the case. That is my main practice. and in a beginning stage, I organise workshops and trainings for my team in order to work on stress reduction. I don't use words like mindfulness. My team is very critical. I talk about stressreduction but not about the buddhist background. With some really interested people I tell more about my inspiration.

| What is it that would be most helpful to you to (further) improve your work with integrating mindfulness in your educational work, besides deepening your own practice? |
I am looking for other people to build a network, to find a way to make mindfulness more common in (primary) schools.I like to exchange experiences and to develop programmes for children and teachers, because I believe that teachers should be a role model. It is not a matter of a program only. Theachers, so Thay once said, should be dharmateachers. |
