Over the years I have taught mindfulness to many different year groups in many different ways, but the backbone of it is now an 8 week mindfulness course for year 10 pupils (14/15 years old). This is done during normal, timetabled 40 minute lessons along with short "home practice" exercises.

Having empirical research in place to endorse its effectiveness. We have already carried out some encouraging pilot research, but the next step is to do something more comprehensive. |
